Etched in Gold: First and foremost I express my gratitude to the executive committee for entrusting me with the role of a chairperson in this very
prestigious and historic salon of our Golden Jubilee year. I am humbled and honored to be the first woman salon chairperson in the
history of YPS. This being YPS Golden Jubilee Year, the All India Digital Salon 2021 is etched in gold in the annals of YPS history
for many reasons!
The executive committee was determined to make the salon very special. The first step was to make Participation Free for all and for the first time, we have our own customised and classy YPS Medals. Along with the regular awards, special prestigious awards in the name of eight Photography Legends of Karnataka were instituted.
With the unexpected demise of Sri Neginhal, Hon YPS, an award in the Nature Section was also instituted in his memory. Young Talent Awards encourage the young photographers too. We continued with the tradition of offering cash awards to encourage photographers.
YPS salons are very popular with photographers and this being free participation combined with wide publicity resulted in a flood of entries. My heartfelt gratitude to all the 1,039 authors who submitted a whopping 13,321 works in 4 sections and created a National Record. The salon has truly helped popularise the Art of Photography. A large number of first time participants showed their eagerness to learn the Art of Photography! I certainly hope they will take their passion forward for this great art form.
My sincere gratitude to the eminent jury members who used their rich photographic knowledge to choose the best photos for awards. Judging the huge number of entries in each section was a daunting task as the session had also to be webcast live. Hope you enjoyed the pictures and the four days of live scoring. For the first time we had the presence of "Salon Saathi" of FIP during the award selection process and I am sure they were impressed by the transparent and efficient manner in which YPS salons are conducted.
Unique and attractive downloadables were designed not only for the award winners but for each and every participant, thereby emphasizing the importance of participation. We at YPS are committed to paying minute attention to every detail, to give the best to every photographer who associates with us!

Chetan Rao Mane created classy new tent card desktop certificates and customised honorable mention ribbons enclosed in a well designed folder. Manju Mohan has been instrumental in planning a very lively on-site / virtual exhibition along with leading the initiative of customised medals. Our benevolent Treasurer M S Kakade kept our finances well balanced and most importantly, our advisor, H Satish was a strong backbone to the committee.

Mr Vaibhav S. Jaguste served as the Vice President of The Photographic Society of India, Mumbai which is one of Asia's oldest photography institutions, established in 1937.
A regular participant in the National and International Photography salons, Mr Vaibhav has won over 100 awards & 1000 acceptances from 23 countries. His work is highly appreciated by the Federation of Indian Photography and has honored him with the prestigious Fellowship (FFIP) in 2011. He was awarded with EFIAP distinction by Federation International d'La Art (FIAP) in 2014. He has also judged numerous national and International Salons wholeheartedly.
His exhibitions "Hymns of Nature" and "Rocks and waves" at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai was greatly supported by the Print media and art industry. He also led his Club along with national executives to Seoul, South Korea and Morocco and Marrakech to attend the FIAP Congress in 2016 and 2019 respectively.

A.G.Lakshminarayan started his photographic journey in 1972 and learnt photography from the world famous pictorial photographer late Dr. D.V.Rao. He is a specialist in creative photography, macro and bird photography. A specialist in photoshop, he conducted many digital post processing workshops for beginners and advanced photographers.
He concentrated only in the creative sections of international salons and got 69 awards and over 600 acceptances. His works were exhibited all over the world. He had been a judge in many Salons and contributed articles to many reputed Kannada magazines.

Mr Sudhir Saxena has been pursuing photography for more than 45 years and has travelled extensively for photography. He has won many medals and trophies from FIAP and PSA and has a few thousand photographs exhibited across the world. He has also served as a Jury member in many International Salons since 1984.
Mr Sudhir has published photobooks on Ghats of Varanasi and Kumbh. His one-man exhibition "Sadhus" was well appreciated by photolovers.
He is the founder of Photolovers Photographic Society and has organized 16 International Photography Circuits so far, including 4 Grand Circuits. Presently, he is a member of the Working Committee of the Federation of Indian Photography.

Digwas Bellemane, hailing from the serene town of Sirsi nestled in the breathtaking Western Ghats of Karnataka, India, is a self-employed professional in the electronics industry in Bengaluru. His photography journey began nearly 15 years ago, evolving into a distinguished photo artist specialising in Fine Art, Travel, and Landscape photography. His dedication to excellence is evident in his unique and captivating compositions. Digwas has participated in numerous international photographic exhibitions, affiliated with organisations such as the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique, the Photographic Society of America, Master of Light in Canada, and the Federation of Indian Photography. His acclaimed works have earned numerous honours, awards, and exhibition acceptances worldwide.
In 2018, Digwas completed an image analysis course conducted by the Photographic Society of America. He has been invited to judge many national and international photography contests. He is a life member of the Federation of Indian Photography, serving as in-charge of the Distinctions Committee and a Salon Saathi. Additionally, he is the lead and a member of the YPS Dṛṣá¹i Editorial team. In 2018, YPS honoured him with a 'Service Award' for his outstanding contributions to art photography. In 2022, the Federation of Indian Photography awarded him the ESFIP distinction (Excellence Services to FIP) for his exceptional contributions.

Born in an artistic family in Amalapuram, Mr Ravindranath started photography at the age of 12. Well known for pictorial photography, monochrome works, experimental and abstract photography, Mr Ravindranath is one of the top 10 monochrome exhibitors in Indian salons between 1979 to 1995, and won innumerable awards and merit certificates at the National and International photography competitions.
He is the founder of the United Foto Artists Organization (Rajahmundry) and a Telugu daily Photojournalist (Vijayawada). At present he is serving as President for Andhra Pradesh Photography Akademi. He has also organized two international and four national salons.

From childhood, Gangadhar had immense love for Nature. He loves Scenic beauty, Colourful flowers and Butterflies. With immense zeal for photography, he now spends most of his free time capturing the exciting behavioral moments of fascinating wildlife as they unfold in their natural habitat. He has won many International medals, awards and certificates of merit in various national and international salons. He has participated in many Indian and International Salons and won awards. More than 200 of his photographs were displayed at exhibitions held in England, Taipei, Slovenia, USA, Greece and Serbia apart from India.
He was part of the team that represented India in the 16th FIAP Nature Biennial Photography World Cup held in Norway at which India won Gold Medal in Prints and Projected Images categories. He once again represented India in the 17th FIAP Biennial Photography World Cup held at Bengaluru, in which India, once again, won the Gold Medal.

Mr Hira Punjabi has been doing wildlife photography for the last 26 years and won many awards nationally and Internationally. His photography works have been published in more than 25 books and hundreds of magazines. His solo photography exhibition on wildlife during the wildlife week in October 2000 at Bombay Natural History Society and a group show in Tangent Art Gallery in October 2003 was well received in the photography community.
He was adjudged "Photographer of the year" by photographic Society of India in the year 2000, and also won first prize in "Sanctuary ABN wildlife photographer of the year" photography competition in the year 2001 and second prize in the year 2004. He is also the only Indian photographer to have won Glanzlitcher Photo Competition Awards, Germany over 3 times.
