S. Balu is a Civil Engineer and Builder by profession and a photo hobbyist. He is into photography for the past 3 decades. He started his photography during film days and now continuing in the digital era. His area of interest was pictorial photography during film days. Later he got attracted towards nature and wildlife photography.
He is a Life Member of Photographic Society of Madras (PSM), Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) and a member of Photographic Society of America (PSA).

Digwas Bellemane has had an exemplary 10 years of experience in the space of Fine Art Photography. He leaves no stone unturned when it comes to producing unique pictures. His moonlight picture of the roaring Hogenakkal Falls is an example of the pains he takes to produce his pictures. He has won over 140 International Medals and 75 National Awards. Over 170 pictures of Digwas have earned him more than 650 Acceptances in International Salons held in 22 countries.
Born in a quaint town of Sirsi amidst the beautiful Western Ghats, in Karnataka, Digwas Bellemane’s journey in Photography took him a long way. He is a Lifetime member of the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) and the Youth Photographic Society Bangalore(YPS) and Sagara Photographic Society. He is In-charge of FIP Distinctions Committee and FIP Salon Saathi. He is also lead of YPS journal Dṛṣṭi’s Editorial Team. In due recognition of his service, both the YPS and the FIP have conferred on him their prestigious Service Awards.

Mr. Jinesh Prasad hails from Moodabidri in Mangalore. His journey as a photographer started during the negative film era. He joined India International Photography Club in 1985-86 and participated in several workshops by legends like Late Sri T.N.A Perumal, Sri N.Sunder Raj, Sri Allama Prabhu H N, Sri O.P Sharma, Sri B.W Jatkar and many others.
Travelling has been Mr. Jinesh’s passion since childhood. He has covered many temple car festivals, events like Kambala, Bhuta Kola and other cultural activities. He was an official photographer for mega events like the Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelagola in 1993 and many other Mastakabhishekas at Karkala, Venur, Dharmasthala and other places.
He is a budget solo traveller and has visited many places in India and countries like Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonasia, Vietnam, Srilanka, Dubai, AbuDhabi, Bahrain and Bangladesh.
He joined YPS in 2018 and started to participate in Salons and Circuits. In the short span of two years, he has won more than 150 international and national awards and more than 2000 exhibition acceptances.

Being an Automotive Engineer Mr. Mahalingaraju Kagi worked 20+ years in the Sultanate of Oman. Photography was his passion since early school days. He is an amateur photographer interested in art, travel, nature, street, sports, culture and fashion photography. He is a trained Fashion Photographer from J. D. Institute of Fashion Technology Bangalore.
.He is a member of Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) & Photographic Society of America (PSA). He is also a member of PSA Exhibition Data Review Team since Jan 2020. His works have been exhibited across eighteen countries and received awards and honours. He is the Secretary of the Photographic Club of Bangalore.

A qualified Engineer with Post Graduation in Digital Electronics from Indian Institute of Science, Mr. Mukesh Srivastava made a successful foray into digital photography. He resides in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
To explore the world through his lens, he has travelled to Australia, UK, Holland, Brussels, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria, South Korea and Iceland.
Few of his images are being sold in the USA as Greeting cards. His works have been published in Lonely Planet, Syndic Literary Journal, Better Photography, Smart Photography, Asian Photography, NatGeo Magazine and Outlook Business.
He has more than 150 National and International awards to his credit. To name a few, he received 27 from Kodak, 4 from NatGeo, 1 from Savewater (Melbourne) and 75 awards in International Salons recognised by the FIAP and the PSA.
He has trained more than 8000 photographers through workshops at Center For Visual Arts, Nikon and IPA, Kolkata. He was Nikon’s Official Mentor from 2015 to 2017. Presently he is a visiting faculty at Institute of Photo Arts, Kolkata and Dept. of Mass Communication, BMKU, Dhanbad
Mr. Prasanna Venkatesh Gubbi is a Natural History Photography by choice. He has won more than 25 International and 60 National awards. He has exhibited more than 400 images in 20 different countries including India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, Australia, Austria, Argentina, Hungary, Scotland, Greece and Slovenia. He is the winner of Asia\'s most prestigious Wildlife Photography Award, Wind land Smith Rice Natures Best Photography, Asia in Birds Section in the year 2016. He was also a Runner in the Wildlife section in the prestigious Comraderie Photography Contest held by ICICI Bank in 2016.
His images have been published in popular Indian Photography magazines like Sanctuary Asia and Seavus. They have also been published in Nature's Best Photography Magazine and Khabar Magazine published in the USA. Few of his Big Cat images were part of the Coffee Table book published by Dubai Mall.

Ms. Prema Kakade is an artist by nature having dabbled professionally in various forms of art like Batik, Tanjore and Mysore paintings. These pieces of art have reached innumerable countries through the prestigious Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation.
During her childhood she was exposed to photography by Mr. E Hanumantha Rao, the renowned wildlife photographer. Joining YPS catapulted her passion for photography and brought her UP Lalit Kala Academy Award, Karnataka Tourism Award as well as many awards from national and international salons. Her works have won Acceptances from over 40 countries.
Her interest in photography includes various genres like pictorial, nature, wildlife, macro and travel. She is presently the Joint Secretary of YPS. She had served as Chairperson for YPS Salons.
A storyteller, Mr. Sandeep Dutta has chosen his camera to convey the beauty of nature. Documenting India’s wildlife for decades, Sandeep’s treasure chest contains unparalleled moments from the wild and his work has been published widely as he holds credit to some of the finest accolades in the genre of wildlife and nature photography. Today, one of the most experienced wildlife photographers of India, Sandeep has dedicated his life where he truly belongs to The Wild.
Being a mentor and business leader, he has crafted the art of teaching. Sharing knowledge on photography and post processing comes very natural to him. He has taken photography and post processing sessions to big corporates, institutes, various groups and seasoned individuals.
With the pandemic declassified, YPS will get back to Open Judging at Venue. This brings the best of both worlds. Participants in and around Bangalore who can visit the venue will have the pleasure of meeting the members of jury and other participants and enjoy YPS hospitality. They will also have the privilege of witnessing the selection of pictures for awards and the discussions around the reasons for the picture being selected. The live scoring will still be available through webcast. Details will be published aroud the time of judging.
