Meet Rana Jabeen, a dentist by profession but a photographer at heart, hailing from Mumbai, India, and currently residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Over the last 20 years, Rana has embarked on numerous journeys to fascinating destinations around the globe. Each locale holds its allure, enriched with history, culture, and unique architecture, aspects that Rana delights in exploring and experiencing firsthand.

Rana's preferred genres of photography include cityscapes, landscapes, architecture, and long-exposure shots. An aficionado of architectural imagery, Rana finds inspiration in the intricate patterns, lines, forms, geometry, and textures found within structures. Beyond mere passion, photography serves as a means for Rana to connect with herself. Amidst the technical aspects, photography has imparted valuable life lessons, such as the virtues of patience, meticulous planning, adaptability to sudden changes, and most significantly, the art of slowing down, breathing in the present moment, and reveling in the beauty of art in its myriad forms.

Vinod Kumar Peta's journey into the captivating realm of photography commenced amidst the era of negative film, shaping his artistic vision and honing his craft. Hailing from Hyderabad, India, Vinod has carved a distinguished path as a versatile artist, with a rich background as a photojournalist spanning nearly ten years across various esteemed regional media platforms.

He joyfully delves into diverse subjects and styles, from landscapes to nature and travel, driven by an unwavering passion for his craft.

Throughout his journey, Vinod has garnered several acknowledgments, including international distinctions such as EFIAP/B, EFIP, AIIPC, ASAP.

However, photography for him is not just a profession but a passionate endeavor, a relentless pursuit to capture the beauty and essence of the world.

DR. ANIKET CHATTERJEE

AFIP, AFIAP, EFIP, EFIAP, A.APS, A.NPS

Aniket Chatterjee, a 33-year-old doctor residing in Raiganj, West Bengal, is passionate about photography. He enjoys capturing images of streets, travels, and rituals, aiming to explore various facets of this art form. With a particular fondness for nature photography, especially birding, Aniket seeks to immerse himself in the beauty of the natural world through his lens.

RAGHAVENDRA JOSHI

EFIP, EFIAP, GMPSA, cMOL

Raghavendra Joshi is from Raichur, but settled in Bangalore from last 20+ years. Working in software industry from 2 decades and currently working as Product Director in Global Logic India Ltd. Started photography as hobby to de stress from workload, but soon it turned out to be a serious one. Mainly interested in the nature and wildlife, and has travelled India and abroad to capture nature's beauty, wild animals in their natural habitat.
Achievements: Raghavendra Joshi, has been conferred with EFIP, EFIAP, GMPSA. 

Has won awards/commendations at many competitions and salons, has over 300+ awards and 4000+ exhibition acceptances from various national and international photography salons spanning across many countries to his
credit.

BHASKAR P ATHAVALE

MPSA, EFIAP/S, GPU Aphrodite - CR3, cMOL, GAPU, Hon CPE, Hon WPAI, FFIP, APSI

Bhaskar Athavale, an Instrumentation Engineer by profession, initially received photography lessons from Mr. Sharad Devare & Vishwas Morye. What began as a hobby gradually transformed into a passionate pursuit. Bhaskar enjoys capturing images across various genres of photography, with a particular affinity for nature (birds & wildlife), landscapes, and travel scenes.

Throughout his journey, Bhaskar has garnered several acknowledgments, including international distinctions such as MPSA, EFIAP/Silver, GPU Aphrodite - Crown 3, CMOL, GAPU, Hon CPE, Hon WPAI, FFIP, and APSI. He has accumulated approximately 3500 international acceptances in 53 countries, accompanied by 175 awards.

Notably, Bhaskar has received the BEST LANDSCAPE Trophy for the years 2019, 2021, and 2023 from the Photography Society of India (PSI). Furthermore, he has contributed to the photography community by publishing an article on "Photographing Birds in Flight" in the monthly magazine of PSI - CLICK (Aug 2022) and in the WPAI Newsletter Jan 2023.

Bhaskar's expertise has been recognized in the international photography circuit, as evidenced by his nominations as a Jury member in more than 25 International Salons.

PIYALI MITRA

EFIAP/d1, GMPSA/ Bronze, Crown 4 GPU, EFIP, EFIP Gold (Nature)

Piyali Mitra, a graduate in Microbiology and holder of a Masters in Biotechnology, has harbored a deep love for nature since her childhood days. Growing up in close proximity to a renowned national sanctuary fueled her interest in wildlife. Her passion for nature blossomed into a full-fledged addiction after completing a photography course at Chhayapath, Calcutta.

She has traversed extensively across India, capturing vibrant festivals, events, and slices of tribal culture and tradition. Piyali has garnered significant recognition for her work, including the prestigious distinction of GMPSA/Bronze from the Photographic Society of America in 2022 and Crown 4 from the Global Photographic Union. She further solidified her reputation with accolades such as EFIAP/Diamond 1 from FIAP in 2023, as well as EFIP and EFIP Gold (Nature) from the Federation of Indian Photography.

As a Life Member of the Federation of Indian Photography since 2013, Piyali has honed her skills through various courses, including Light Painting, Photography in Available Light, and Advance PTD from the Photographic Society of America. Her dedication has been rewarded with over Eight Thousand Acceptances and 600 awards from different National and International Salons.

Her captivating portfolio has graced exhibitions numerous times, notably at Lalitkala, Uttar Pradesh, where she has received recognition. Additionally, Piyali has been honored with an award from Lalitkala, Gujarat. Beyond government contests, she has participated in numerous national-level competitions, consistently earning awards and exhibitions.

Piyali's primary areas of interest lie in Human Interest, Travel, and Wildlife Photography, reflecting her deep connection with the natural world and diverse cultures.

SUMAN SAHA

Suman Saha, a businessman by profession and a photographer by heart is deeply in love with his camera in search of people and places for the last 26 years. Achieving distinctions, awards and acceptances happen to be just milestones in a long journey with his photographs. Visiting various exhibitions, attending photo seminars and witnessing various images while at jury's chair is a vital part of his journey as a photographer. Through his love to learn and love to coordinate by associating with different photographers, he enlightens himself gradually.   

G MANOHARAN

With a distinguished 26-year career in professional photography, Manoharan Govindarajan has meticulously honed his skills across a diverse spectrum of genres. These include studio portraits, product, food, sports, wildlife, and event photography. His unwavering passion for capturing moments and crafting compelling visuals has served as the cornerstone of his thriving journey within the dynamic realm of photography.

JINESH PRASAD

EFIAP, EFIP, Hon.CPE, GAPS

Mr. Jinesh Prasad hails from Moodabidri in Mangalore. His journey as a photographer started during the negative film era. He joined India International Photography Club in 1985-86 and participated in several workshops by legends like Late Sri T.N.A Perumal, Sri N.Sunder Raj, Sri Allama Prabhu H N, Sri O.P Sharma, Sri B.W Jatkar and many others.

Travelling has been Mr. Jinesh’s passion since childhood.  He has covered many temple car festivals, events like Kambala, Bhuta Kola and other cultural activities. He was an official photographer for mega events like the Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelagola in 1993 and many other Mastakabhishekas at  Karkala, Venur, Dharmasthala and other places.

He is a budget solo traveller and has visited many places in India and countries like Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonasia, Vietnam, Srilanka, Dubai, AbuDhabi, Bahrain and Bangladesh.

He joined YPS in 2018 and started to participate in Salons and Circuits. In the short span of two years, he has won more than 150 international and national awards and more than 2000 exhibition acceptances.

MANASI DEB SARKAR

EFIAP/b,EFIP

Manasi Deb Sarkar, a resident of Jalpaiguri, a small town in the northern Indian state of West Bengal, identifies herself as a serious amateur photographer and photo-journalist, having embarked on her photographic journey in 2017. Throughout her pursuit, she has achieved notable milestones such as obtaining the EFIP distinction in 2021 and the EFIAP/b distinction in 2023.

Manasi's talent has garnered recognition at several national-level exhibits and has earned her numerous awards. Additionally, she has been honored with the role of a jury member at national-level photographic salons on multiple occasions.

Her passion lies in capturing the essence of people and places, with a particular interest in environmental portraits. Manasi attributes much of her success and growth to her association with JPA since 2018, which has provided her with a robust platform and unwavering support. She is also a proud member of both FIP and FIAP since 2019.

Currently, Manasi serves as a correspondent photo-journalist with Uttar Banga Sangbad, where she continues to showcase her talent and dedication to the field of photography.

ANIRUDDHA DAS

EFIAP/S, EFIP GOLD, EFIP, A.CPE, M. APS, HON. PESGSPC, GPA.PESGSPC, HON.FAPG

In 2019, Aniruddha Das achieved the AFIP distinction from FIP, India. The following year, in 2020, he attained the EFIP distinction from FIP, India, and the AFIAP distinction from FIAP, France. He was honored with the HON. PESGSPC and GPA distinctions from Cyprus and Georgia, respectively, in 2020. In 2021, he earned the EFIAP distinction from FIAP, France, and the EFIP GOLD distinction from FIP, India. His accolades continued in 2022 with the EFIAP/B Distinction from FIAP, France, followed by the EFIAP/S Distinction from FIAP, France, the A.CPE Distinction from Campina, Romania, and the M.APS Distinction from APS, Bangladesh, in 2023. Since 2002, Aniruddha Das's photographs have been exhibited in various exhibition halls in Kolkata, and they have been featured in leading Indian photography magazines such as Smart Photography and Asian Photography Magazine, showcasing his photographic journey multiple times.

VINAYA MATHEWS

After working with State Bank of India, the leading bank in India, for 31 years, Vinaya Mathews decided to quit her job in 2014, from the position of Chief Manager, to pursue her two passions, working for the under-privileged and photography.

Her journey in the field of photography started with a basic course conducted by Late Prof. Manohar Desai, the Founder Director of National Institute of Photography, in Mumbai, India, in the year 2004. With the feel of a camera in hand, she discovered her over-arching love for photography. It took her 10 long restless years to finally free herself from the bonds of a demanding career and follow her passion.

In March 2018, she attended 12th batch of ‘Gurukul Of Photographic Art’ where she learned philosophy of photography from an eminent photographer Dr Shivji Joshi. She learned five mantras of photography from him i.e. ‘Line, Light, Life, Vision & Visualisation’.

During last eight years, she has earned distinction ‘Excellence FIAP’ (EFIAP) from ‘The International Federation of Photographic Art’ Belgium, ‘Proficiency Photographic Society of America (PPSA)’, ‘Gold Exhibitor of APU (GAPU) from Asia Photographers Union, ‘Master of Federation Of Indian Photography (MFIP) & ‘MFIP – Nature’.

She idolises ex-president of India, late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and his beautiful quote “Dream is not that you see in sleep, Dream is something that does not let you sleep” is a reverberating source of inspiration for her.

Her dream is to gain distinctive knowledge and experience in the field to become an accomplished photographer.
