WELCOME TO THE SALON EXHIBITION

A Warm Invitation to Photo Exhibition of YPS International Salon 2026

We are happy to announce that we have made arrangements for a physical photo exhibition for YPS International Salon 2026. The visitors will be able to appreciate the Award-Winning images in 12x18-inch prints with a frame to enhance the impact. All the Accepted images will also be displayed in a Full HD slideshow. The Salon Exhibition will be held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.

Exhibition date and time: 10:30am on Sat, Apr 25, 2026 to 6:00pm on Sun, Apr 26, 2026

The Award Function & Catalog Release will be held on Sunday, 26th April 2026, at 11:00 AM. We have also scheduled a presentation by Shri. Ajit Huilgol on Sat, Apr 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM. We request that all of you visit the exhibition and attend the presentation and award function with family and friends.

RJ Pataki Shruti is a leading radio host, TV presenter, speaker, and holistic healer, known for Bengaluru’s top morning show Pataki Mornings on 92.7 Big FM. Beyond entertainment, she drives social impact—championing menstrual hygiene, disaster relief, citizen–authority initiatives, and pandemic support. Her initiatives like Traffic Tuesday and BIG STARTUP have created real change, earning national recognition.

Founder of Shrunique by Shruti, she promotes holistic wellness through manifestation workshops, energy healing, and mindful living, along with curated spiritual products for personal growth and balance.

About His Journey

Dr Jeethendra Shetty is the Joint Director in the Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports and Sports Authority of Karnataka. He completed his early education in Valthoor, Neralakatte, and Gulwady, and his high school education in Udupi, before graduating from Bengaluru Veterinary College, Hebbal. He began his career as a Veterinary Officer in Mudubidri and Sullia, and later entered public service through the KAS examination as Assistant Director.

Over the years, he has held key administrative roles, including at the General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure and as Deputy Director of the Government Flying Training School, Jakkur, where he played a vital role in its renovation and relaunch in 2025. He has contributed to policy-making as a member of the Karnataka State Youth Policy–2012 drafting committee and chaired committees related to sports admissions and recruitment.

He has also played significant roles in major events such as the National Youth Festival 2023, Khelo India University Games, Dasara Sports CM Cup, and Karnataka State Games, reflecting his continued commitment to youth development and sports promotion in Karnataka.

Youth Photographic Society

Youth Photographic Society (YPS) Bengaluru, the hosts for this contest, is a not-for-profit organization started in 1971 to further the Art of Photography. With over 600 members, YPS is among the largest Photography Clubs in India and also boasts of hosting 50 National and International Salons. It has been nurtured by doyens of Indian Photography like Late Mr. T N A Perumal, Late Mr. E Hanumantha Rao and Late Mr. C Rajagopal. The club conducts regular slide-shows on every first and third Saturday of the month, alongside exhibitions and workshops, for the benefit of its members.
